Information LiftLedger Collects

LiftLedger may collect or store the following information when you use the app:

LiftLedger does not currently include advertising SDKs or third-party behavioral analytics SDKs.

How LiftLedger Uses Information

LiftLedger uses information to:

LiftLedger does not sell personal information.

Local Storage And Cloud Sync

LiftLedger is local-first. If you do not sign in, workout history is stored on your device or browser storage. Local storage can be deleted by the operating system, browser, device reset, or app uninstall, so you should export backups if you rely only on local storage.

If you sign in, LiftLedger may sync your private workout ledger to Supabase. The cloud store is scoped to your authenticated user id and protected by row-level security. The cloud record may include workout history, exercises, custom exercises, preferences, injury-mode records, schema version, and update timestamps.

Software bugs, device failures, sync conflicts, network interruptions, user error, storage limits, app updates, or third-party platform issues can affect stored data. LiftLedger provides export and backup tools, but no storage system can guarantee that workout history or personal records will never be lost.

Apple Health

Apple Health / HealthKit is not part of the current production-subscription build. LiftLedger does not request Apple Health permission or import Apple Health data in this release.

A future post-production release may add read-only Apple Health import. Before that happens, LiftLedger will update this policy, app-store privacy details, permission copy, and user controls. LiftLedger will not write data back to Apple Health unless a future version clearly describes that feature and requests any required permissions.

Subscriptions And Payments

LiftLedger uses RevenueCat to manage subscription status across Apple App Store and Google Play purchases. Apple and Google process payment information. LiftLedger does not receive or store full payment card numbers.

RevenueCat may receive app user ids, product ids, entitlement status, purchase receipts or tokens, and subscription lifecycle information. LiftLedger uses this information to determine whether LiftLedger Pro is active, trialing, expired, canceled, comped, or restored.

Data Sharing

LiftLedger shares information with service providers only as needed to operate the app:

These providers process information under their own policies and terms. LiftLedger does not sell personal data and does not use your workout history for advertising.

User-Controlled Sharing And Exports

LiftLedger includes export and sharing features. If you export a backup, CSV, workout share file, screenshot, or other report, that exported data may contain workout history, weights, reps, RIR values, notes, bodyweight, preferences, and training context depending on your export choices. You are responsible for where you save or send exported files.

Data Retention

LiftLedger keeps local data until you delete it, uninstall the app, clear browser/app storage, or restore over it with a backup.

If you use cloud sync, LiftLedger keeps your cloud history while your account exists unless you request deletion. Certain minimal records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, payment reconciliation, app-store compliance, tax/accounting obligations, or legal obligations.

Account Deletion

If you create an account, you can request account deletion from inside the app or by contacting szglover94@gmail.com. Account deletion is intended to delete or de-identify your LiftLedger account data and private cloud history, subject to legally required retention.

Deleting your LiftLedger account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel subscriptions through Apple, Google Play, or RevenueCat Customer Center where available.

Security

LiftLedger uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including local-first storage, authenticated cloud access, Supabase row-level security, scoped cloud records, and app-side payload limits. No internet-connected service can guarantee perfect security. You should protect your device, app-store account, and identity-provider account credentials.

Children

LiftLedger is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for use by children without parent or guardian involvement. Do not use LiftLedger if you are not old enough to consent to these terms under applicable law.

International Users

LiftLedger is operated from the United States. If you use the app from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where LiftLedger service providers operate.

Changes To This Policy

LiftLedger may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
